Articles on Polyamory
Excerpts from a Book-in-Progress

We believe that many of the problems individual poly relationships face can be attributed to a) the scarcity of useful poly role models, and b) the lack of societal nurturing of skills which benefit poly relationships. Part of our goal with polyandproud.com is to contribute materially to both of these things, and one of our major projects is the writing of a new book on polyamory.

Our working title is Polyamory 201: Advanced Poly Theory and Practice; we hope to build upon the basics as laid out in books like The Ethical Slut and Polyamory: The New Love Without Limits, as well as a variety of web sites, and create the reference we wish we'd had ten or fifteen years ago.

Writing a book is a lengthy, complicated endeavor, so along the way we'll share snippets of our work-in-progress. Eventually, we'll have a forum for comments and discussion, because we very much want to include ideas shaped by experiences beyond our own.

Notes from a Newly Open Marriage

"We've been through more romantic permutations than I would have guessed possible. We've also had some of the most volcanic fights of our five-year relationship. The good news is, we're happy with our decision to be poly, the tumult is settling down, and we're still fiercely in love."
