We launched polyandproud.com last spring with a single book review, three designs, and a modest selection of CaféPress products.
Now, several months and a lot of behind-the-scenes work later, we're moving ahead with stage two. We've put out our first large-scale survey, to tremendous response, and we're using that feedback to choose our new products and services. We've added several new designs, and we're starting to build an inventory of high-quality silk-screened shirts, first in black and eventually in other colors.
It looks like we'll soon have the traffic and participation to support a polyamory-focused discussion board. And we are beginning to build a repository of original essays and articles — written by ourselves and others — on many aspects of polyamory. (In the far, far future: we may even publish a book.)
We've also gotten a lot of interest in the idea of a line of poly-specific greeting cards: 'to our sweetheart,' 'with love from the three of us,' and so on. We want to offer both paper cards for purchase in our shop and Flash-animated greeting cards that you can send online.
If you'd like to see any of these things come to pass, please support us now, in our community's infancy. Grab a banner. Link to us. Tell your friends. Buy our stuff — and wear it often. Subscribe to our newsletter, vote in the polls, enter the contests. Write to us and tell us what you think we should be doing, and not doing.
We're excited about the possibilities, and hope you are too.
